CH 06FAQ
Yes, for most operations. Push-to-talk runs over your Wi-Fi or cellular data, so coverage follows your network rather than a repeater. Walk the building during the trial (freezers, mezzanines, the far end of the yard) to confirm your Wi-Fi reaches.
TalkBeam runs on iPhone and iPad today, with an Apple Watch app. Android is coming soon on Google Play. Any Bluetooth or wired headset works.
Yes. Create as many channels as you need, such as Receiving, Picking, Shipping, Yard or Second Shift, and choose who’s on each.
TalkBeam plays through headsets and earbuds at the volume you set. On a loud floor, a single earbud or a headset works far better than a phone speaker.
Phones fall back to cellular data when Wi-Fi drops. If a phone has neither, it can’t talk until it reconnects, so find your dead spots during the trial.
