For most crews, yes. Push-to-talk runs over cellular data or Wi-Fi, so range doesn’t end at the fence, and there are no handhelds to buy, charge or replace. Check coverage in basements, cores and parking levels during your trial; where there’s no signal, keep a few radios.
Yes. Share your company code or add them from the console, put them on the channels for their site, and remove them when their scope is done.
TalkBeam works with any Bluetooth or wired headset the phone supports, including Bluetooth hearing-protection headsets, and plays through them at the volume you set.
On Enterprise, you add your sites in the console and choose what to watch: National Weather Service warnings, thunderstorms, heat, air quality and earthquakes. TalkBeam reads the alert aloud on your channels automatically, and can announce the all clear. Thunderstorm alerts come from weather forecasts, not a lightning detector.
